Who WOULDN'T want to give?!
Hi People,
So I am raising money for HOPE worldwide’s International Day of Giving campaign. I’ve been volunteering with HOPE on and off since college and it’s always been easier to give my time but I’ve always been less anxious to ask for donations. This year, I figured I’d get over it. It’s a great charity!
So, every year for International Day of Giving in November, HOPE worldwide has this challenge to give just $52 – only one dollar a day for a year. I usually just give this on my own but this year I’m trying to raise at least 5 times that, so I need your help.
Whether $52 or only $5, if you’re wondering whether your one little act of giving will make a difference, the answer is “Yes!” Right now, about half the world lives on less than $2.50 a day. $50 can get medicine and vitamins to 25 people living in extreme poverty in Honduras. $250 can train and fund an emergency care nurse for one month in Cambodia, or continue ongoing vocational training in Haiti – only a few of hundreds of places and people your gift could make a difference.
Your donation toward the International Day of Giving campaign gives HOPE worldwide the opportunity to be your hands of compassion and your heart of understanding to the poorest of the poor… Okay, that last sentence I copy/pasted, but it’s true! And I need your help to continue their efforts.
Please Donate! And thanks for reading,
