Hi, my name is Anjali Madala. I am 5 years old. I want to support the Pratham vocational training program at CCD Varni, Nizamabad. For this cause, I donated the money I had in my piggy bank. I would really love it if you could also give a small donation.

In India, the Hospitality & Tourism sector is estimated to grow rapidly over the next few years, creating a shortage of trained skilled manpower for the industry. Many young men and women drop out of the formal educational system without an awareness of the array of alternative educational and employment opportunities available to them. These students often settle in rural areas and are not privy to the industry growth evident in urban areas.

Luckily, there’s Pratham, an organization whose mission is to construct local resources for hospitality training at the urban and rural level to enhance skills and increase the employability of young men and women. Pratham’s wide network helps recruit students and bring them to the training facilities. In the Hospitality Program, Pratham has placed 95% of the trainees at various hotels, including the Taj Group of Hotels, Mirador, Best Western, Goradia, and Panoramic Hotels. Their latest graduates have seen a 100% placement rate!

I’m proud to support Pratham because through them I can help solve a seemingly overwhelming problem by giving to one young adult at a time. You and everyone I’m reaching out to can do the same, and together, we can make a difference for those in India!

By giving through SeeYourImpact, we know that our donations will be delivered directly to Pratham. Best of all, we’ll get photos and stories of the children whose lives we change!

Pratham means “first” in Sanskrit, a name that reflects their place in changing education for the poorest children in India. Pratham seeks to inspire people around the world to stand up for children’s education rights, and has opened chapters in Canada, Germany, the U.K., and the U.S.

Tell Anjali why you this cause!
