Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Dear Friends,
Thank you for reading this letter. This website page is to help many children in India go to school.
In India especially, many children do not have the time, access or money to go to school. You can help these children by giving me one dollar each time I read a book. When I read a book I am learning something new and so is a child in India.
I think education is important because learning is a life skill. One more person that is educated is one more person that can do something good in this world. Also, in order to navigate, shop or get a job you need to know basic skills such as reading, writing and arithmetic. That is why I think education is important.
Here is how this works. First of all, I read a book. Secondly, I say it on my page. Thirdly, you submit the money to my web page. Lastly when I get enough money I will send it to a foundation called Pratham in many places in the world. It takes 25 United States dollars to send one child to school for one year.
Sincerely,
Sanaa
Update #7 (sent August 8)
I read Addy saves the day.It is about a girl called addy who just escaped from slavery with her mother and father and is trying to relocate her older brother and younger sister. When her church has a fair to raise money to help reunite families like hers she finds a thief stealing money boxes can she be brave enough to stop her? I also read Caroline’s surprise and Nancy Drew,The Clue of the whistling bagpipes and Nancy Drew and the Witch Tree Symbol.
