Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Dear Friends,
I am participating yet again in the Pratham USA Readathon. I have been a volunteer for Pratham USA since the 6th grade, because I want to help underprivileged and impoverished Indian children learn to read, write, and count well through Pratham schools. I will be a reading coordinator for the 4th summer now, leading a group of children living in the Chicagoland area to succeed in this nationwide fundraiser.
Pratham is a non-profit organization that has been educating millions of kids in India since it was founded in 1995. Pratham USA raises funds and awareness in the US for this important cause. Please visit www.prathamusa.org for more information.
I am pledging to read so that others can obtain the same capabilities that I and so many of you have. Pratham needs only $25 to educate one child for one whole year. I am so happy that with your donation, Pratham will be one step closer to reaching its goal of enhancing the education of all of India’s youth. Please support my Readathon by making a donation to Pratham USA today!
