Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Dear Family & Friends,
This is Jaya and as you know I love, love to read. My favorite books are the Harry Potter Series, any Rick Riordan and the Hunger Games Series.
I am lucky enough to have the support of my all my family by buying books or taking me to the library. I can read anytime I want! Many children in India are not as fortunate as I am. So, I have decided to help them by joining the 2016 Pratham Readathon! The Readathon is a great way for me to read and also help less fortunate children attend schools in India.
This summer I have pledged to read 15 large chapter books for the Pratham Readathon and I really need your support! If you sponsor me and help me reach my fundraising goal, together we will help educate many young girls like me!! It only takes $25 to educate a child for one year in India.
Thank you for your support in helping improve the lives of so many needy children.
Love and Keep on Reading! I know I will be!
Jaya
