Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Dear Friends and Family,
I hope you will support me in this activity. I am participating in Pratham Readathon 2016 because I want kids in India to go to school and read, write, and learn so they can grow up to have a job and be happy.
Pratham is a not-for-profit organization that is educating millions of kids in India. It is very well known and has won many international awards for its work in child literacy and education. Pratham USA raises funds and awareness in the US for this cause. Pratham needs only $25 to educate one child for one whole year.
I love to read because it’s fun, it teaches me lessons, and it helps make-believe come true! This summer, I am making a goal to read 10 chapter books. Please donate so that I can help other children in India follow their dreams! Thank you for supporting me with a donation.
Love,
Amiya
