What is the Concur Volunteer Rebuilding Day?
The Concur Volunteer Rebuilding Day is a chance for Concur employees and their friends to give back to the community by helping provide free home repairs to a low income homeowner in need. Concur is partnering with Rebuilding Together Seattle to bring this exciting event to life on May 22. Volunteers will be completing the necessary repairs in one day to give one special family a second chance in their home.
What is Rebuilding Together Seattle?
Rebuilding Together Seattle is a local nonprofit that provides free home repairs to low income homeowners in the greater Seattle area. Since its founding in 1989, Rebuilding Together Seattle has restored more than 1,000 homes and nonprofit facilities from Tukwilla to Everett with the help of more than 50,000 local volunteers and more than 200 community sponsors. Together, they have contributed more than $8 million in market value home improvements to our community. Rebuilding Together Seattle is one of 168 affiliates of the national Rebuilding Together organization.
Where will my money go?
Your gift will directly support the Concur Volunteer Rebuilding Day on May 22. The funds will be used to cover related program costs including project materials, tools, and logistics. Also, your donation will be matched 1 for 1 by the Concur organization until $5,000 has been raised. Every dollar you give will have double the impact for a low income family in need.

Update #1

Hi All,

I am leading a team from Concur to help make the lives in our community a better place to live. We will be joining the “Rebuilding Together” Seattle chapter, to help an individual whom is in her late 80’s and has lived in her 1904, Minor neighborhood home for the past 71 years. Over the years since her husband’s passing, her home has slowly deteriorated, and is now in danger of being condemned, leaving her no place to go. One room, for example, has a stack of about 7 mattresses left by renters over the years. She lives alone now and has struggled to make much progress in clearing out her home and now many deficiencies in the property are posing safety risks. Any help you could provide to help support our efforts to help, would be greatly appreciated, and will go a long way towards making a difference in not just her life, but the others in our area that this great organization helps on a daily basis. Thank you in advance for your consideration, and generosity.
