Help me bring health equity to patients throughout Guatemala
Please join me in support of these important programs by donating to my fundraiser. Your contribution will help to support Timmy’s healthcare services and patient referral system, and will be used to purchase much-needed medicines for our patients, acquire valuable medical supplies for our clinics, help to finance a life-changing surgery, or subsidize expensive referral costs. As a Timmy student, and someone who went on the trip last year, I can tell you that the need for healthcare services in Guatemala is great. The amenities that we have available to us, are not always available to others. But it is amazing how much people care and are willing to give to provide basic health care. Individuals like you and me can do a lot of good.
The trip in May 2013 really taught me the true meaning of a smile. Money, luxuries, or the latest trends do not result in a true smile. Love, care, gratitude, and laughter do. The people of Guatemala had all of those things and helped me more than I ever thought I was helping them. I could relive those moments time and time again and still learn something new from the people I met every time. This experience, and what Timmy Global Health stands for and achieves, is something I truly believe in and support.
Please join me in supporting Timmy’s work in Guatemala by donating to this campaign. By doing so, you can see what your money is being used for right on this website and personal stories from Timmy students will be shared. Thank you for your time, consideration, and donations.
