Escape under the forever sky by Eve Yohalem is full of suspense, excitement, and adventure. This book starts of by describing a girl named Lucy Hoffman the daughter of the American ambassador to Ethiopa. Growing up in the Ethiopian suburbs she is almost NEVER let out of her house. For the times she is does, she goes to watch a game or drives to see the wilderness or to her best friends Tana’s house. One day when she is at Tana’s house they decide to sneak out. When they are out Lucy gets kidnapped and put in a prison (a small wood box with large holes). She manages to escape but she doesn’t know what lies ahed of her. The danger, bruises and adventure!😮

MOON RISING by Tui Sutherland

One of my favorite books this summer was Moon Rising. You can picture every move the characters make and I love the characters in the book. In this book there are 7 different tribes of dragons – Night Wings, Sand Wings, Sea Wings, Sky Wings, Ice Wings, Mud Wings, and Rain Wings. Moon Watcher is a Night Wing. For a while the Night Wings did not have powers until her. She has prophetic and mind reading powers. She has them because she was born under 3 full moons. Her best friend Kinkajou is a Rain Wing who rarely get mad and is almost always changing bright colors but she they can hide very well. Qibli is a funny and smart Sand wing who likes warm conditions. Winter has a frosty attitude and keeps a savenger (human) named Bandit. Turtle is a Sea wing who stays away from other dragons, and Moon can’t read his mind.
There are 8 books in the series and this is 6th. You should read this book series if you like suspense, fantasy and like to use your imagination. This book reminded me of the dragons from my all time favorite book Harry Potter.
