Heart of a Samurai by Margi Preus

One day, an American ship passes near the island and takes them aboard. Over the next ten years, he travels the ocean and visits many places including America. But deep down he longs to return home.

Recently, I read The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. In the book, two siblings (Carter and Sadie Kane) were seperated after their mother’s death. But now they must unite to try to stop the god of chaos (Set) from destroying the world while also trying to save their father whose body has been taken over by Osiris. Can they do it?
