Join Christy in support of Abraham Tesfasilasie - Dental Care Fundraising Campaign

Let's make a difference together!
I read this story in the Seattle Times ….
http://seattletimes.com/html/localnews/2021235399_sarahcolumnxml.html
….. about a talented and lovely young artist who is full of hope for his life and art in the U.S., working to learn English, wanting to experience at least one year of High School before working to help support his family and younger siblings, but …..
….. he has terrible dental problems from lack of or intermittent care! He can only chew on one side.
Thanks to the YMCA, a terrific organization that understands the importance of dental health to overall health, ability to get work, fit in socially, etc. has undertaken a campaign to raise what for Abraham is the unimaginable amount of $10,000.
He’s been selling his paintings for $20 to $50 in an effort to raise money himself for this vital treatment, but I think he should experience good old fashioned American neighborliness and caring.
I donated $100 and 15% more to help cover the Y’s costs and I’m hoping you can kick in something $5, $20, whatever you can …. to help Abraham’s smile reflect the warmth and loveliness in his heart and soul!
Share this with your friends, and let’s see what we can do, okay? Thanks, Christy
