Help us be the "best in sport" at the 2013 World Games!

This winter, my coach and I are going to a place where there are millions of different abilities but no disabilities–the 2012 Special Olympics World Games in PyeongChang, South Korea! It’s a long way from Washington State, but you can join us in our journey by making a gift. Even a small donation can make a big difference for us, and in return, you’ll get a story about how competing in the World Games changed the life of an athelete like me!

Here are some of the ways your gift can help:
$25 will help buy us food and cover housing while we’re there.
$100 will fund one of our athlete’s competition uniforms.
$500 will fund training for one athlete at the U.S. delegation training camp in Lake Placid, NY.
$8,500 will cover travel and competition fees for one athlete.

This special event only happens once every two years, so here’s your chance to support a symbol of equality, tolerance, and acceptance–and an event that makes all of us feel like champions!

Special Olympics is everything that’s good and right about sports!

Every two years, the world transcends the boundaries of geography, nationality, political philosophy, gender, age, culture and religion to come together for the Special Olympics World Games. Alternating between summer and winter Games, this event is the flagship event of the Special Olympics movement. For more information on the 2013 World Games click here >>
