Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Hi.
My name is Sara Pant, and I am about to enter my senior year in the Hockaday School. I love to read, and I hope to grant others the opportunity to experience a full education and to delve into the fantastic universes that books create.
This summer I began by reading Children of the Mind, the last installment of Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game Series. The book proved to be just as satisfying and mind bending as its prequels. I have now moved on to reading even more Sci Fi, including some Isaac Asimov and another Orson Scott Card book. The latter being a collaboration with Aaron Johnston called Earth Unaware. I have also started a mystery/thriller novel called the Last Victim, by Karen Robards.
edit: Having finished the thriller novel and the two Orson Scott Card books, I seem to have gotten myself hooked on Sci Fi, specifically Card’s books. I have completed 5 more of Card’s genius works of science fiction and and beginning on a thriller also written by him.
Please leave a donation to help my cause.
Update #2 (sent August 20)
The summer is nearing its end and unfortunately my $1000 goal is still far away. I’ve finished a total of 26 books, most of which were science fiction and/or written by Orson Scott Card. Thank you friends for your donations and please continue to help so that we may reach the thousand dollar goal.
