Help me help others!
My name is Nolan Fromm- I’m a senior from Missoula, Montana. I have been lucky enough to participate in two Ecology Project International programs throughout my high school career. During my sophomore year I travelled to Costa Rica to work with the leatherbacks, and last year I went to La Paz, Mexico to conduct underwater surveys of marine echinoderms.
My experiences with EPI have been, as hard as it may be to believe, nothing less than life-changing. The lessons I learned, not only about ecology but about another culture, another way of life, have stuck with me to this day.
I hope that this campaign will enable someone else to share in these experiences. I hope that we can send a student on an adventure just as incredible, to learn about culture, conservation, and about themselves. With your help, we can show them an entirely new world, simply by opening their eyes to the one the live in.
Our mission is to improve and inspire science education and conservation efforts worldwide through field-based student-scientist partnerships.
EPI is a non-profit organization dedicated to developing place-based, ecological education partnerships between local experts and high school students to address critical conservation issues. We engage youth from local communities and the United States in conservation as they learn about and help protect threatened species and habitats.
Tell Nolan why you this cause!
