What is World Water Week?
Every year, over 200 collaborating organisations convene events at the World Water Week. In addition, individuals from around the globe present their findings at the scientific workshops. SEAVURIA engages students in Seattle and Kenya to collect and share data to explore global access to fresh water and local conservation.  This campaign is raising funds for SEAVURIA’s World Water Week projects.
How does it work?
Students at Chief Sealth International High School work with students from two schools in rural Kenya, focusing on addressing topics related to global access to fresh water and conservation.
Where does my money go?

Help me make a global splash!

Help me support SEAVURIA’s World Water Week programming! Students in Seattle and Kenya will work together to gather data and gain perspectives of the realities of water in a developing nation. With a focus on global access to fresh water, these students will interact and gain knowledge and skills to become contributors in a globally connected workforce.

SEAVURIA connects students across the globe to engage and learn together

This year SEAVURIA will partner Chief Sealth International High School with two schools in rural Kenya to empower students with the knowledge and skills that will afford them opportunities to become contributors to a globally connected workforce requiring 21st century skills.  SEAVURIA Global Partnerships creates a sustainable partnership of global interactions for and by youth.  We do this by partnering teachers from Kenya and the US to develop relevant, authentic curriculum that engages our students.  Kenyan and US students collaborate in meaningful curriculum, enhanced through technology and directed by students’ own questions.  SEAVURIA students express the passion, the curiosity and the will to make a difference in their lives and in their communities.

Empowering youth as global citizens is key to their future and to the future of their world.  Today’s technological tools afford us an opportunity to connect students from around the world and engage them in discussions about issues that matter.  They learn from one another, serve as role models for one another, realize opportunities and are inspired to take action.
