International Day of Giving
Please join me! I’m raising money for HOPE worldwide’s International Day of Giving campaign and I need your help. Your donation will bring hope and change lives of more than 2 million of the world’s most poor, sick and suffering in over 70 countries around the world.
Along with my husband, I have been contributing financially as well as serving “hands on” as a volunteer for those in need for this incredible organization for over 17 years. Mark also served on the Advisory Board of the Washington Chapter when we lived in Seattle. We are so passionate about HOPEww and their work, that last year they asked us to be HOPEww Ambassadors. The ambassador program consists of a small group of supporters across the country who volunteer to assist with fundraising efforts. We also meet throughout the year in person or via teleconference to provide feedback, ideas and share inspiring stories.
You may be wondering, “Does one simple act of service to the poor make a difference? Does a financial donation of any amount help transform the lives of those who live in a state of poverty?” The answer is “Yes!” Your gift may help provide healing for someone in a hospital in Cambodia or Bolivia…or it may give much needed food and medicine to an impoverished family in a village in Honduras…or it may help provide an education for young men and women in Kenya – to mention only a few of the hundreds of places and people where your donation brings life and healing.
Please consider giving $1.00 per week for a total donation of $52.00. This is only 16 cents per day and it will go a long way! Your tax deductible donation toward the International Day of Giving campaign gives HOPE worldwide the opportunity to be your hands of compassion and your heart of understanding to the poorest of the poor. We need your help to continue this important work. Happy Thanksgiving and thank you for your donation.
