Hello everyone,

For our 9th birthday this year we would like to raise money for poor kids in India so that kids can get educated for one full year . We want to help the poor and give them better lives. We want the kids to be happy with a good education. We have so much in the US, so why not give a little away to help make these kids smarter and their lives successful. Please help us on our special day by donating whatever amount you wish.

Our Goal is to raise at least $250 which will support 5 kids for one full year.

Your friends,
Kareena and Annika

PS: At its peak in 2008-09, Pratham’s Read India programme reached
out to 450,000-500,000 children in 43 cities and 33 million children in 305,000 villages through a range of programs. Please visit www.http://www.prathamusa.org/

All donations are tax deductible. About 2 weeks after a donation, you will receive an email with the picture of the real person whose life was changed and a story detailing exactly the difference the gift made. When the first stories arrive, we’ll show them on this page! Please check back soon.

By giving through SeeYourImpact, we know that 100% of our donations will be delivered directly to Pratham.  Best of all, we’ll get photos and stories of the children whose lives we change!

Pratham means “first” in Sanskrit, a name that reflects their place in changing education for the poorest children in India. Pratham seeks to inspire people around the world to stand up for children’s education rights, and has opened chapters in Canada, Germany, the U.K., and the U.S.

Tell Kareena and Annika why you Pratham's cause!
