Dear Friend:

As you may know, I am pretty passionate about helping others through the pain and struggle of infertility . Infertility has touched by life and I imagine many of you have encountered someone with this disease as it inflicts 1 in 6 couples. My empathy and desire to help others has lead me to participate as a Board of Director for the past year of a nonprofit organization, Fertility Within Reach. My passion is to help people gain access to the health care benefits needed to treat their condition. This is why I am involved with Fertility Within Reach, a 501(c) 3 non-profit that helps couples advocate for themselves and successfully negotiate with doctors, insurance companies, employers to get the support they need. This organization is doing amazing things for thousands of couples across the U.S. and we need your help.

Example: I was diagnosed with PCOS in my late teens. PCOS is an endocrine disorder that can lead to infertility. When my doctor told me that “pregnancy may be difficult,” I had no idea at the time what that really meant. For me and others who have experienced the highs and the lows, uncertainty and constantly questioning your future, we hope that someday having the diagnosis of infertility will be a transparent, supported and loving process that you and your loved one with go through…
