Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Hello Friends,
My name is Jiya!!!!!
I am going in to the 1st grade and really excited to be part of the Pratham 2013 Readathon!! I have been watching Pratham videos and really excited to start raising money through my reading so that other kids my age can learn to read too.
Next time I go to India, I want to take a bunch of Magic Tree House and Rainbow Fairy Magic books to a Pratham school so I can share how awesome they are! I know the kids will love them!
If you help me reach my fundraising goal, I PROMISE to read 30 CHAPTER books this summer. Yes, that’s right, 30!!!
Love,
Jiya!!!!!!! Mutyala
Cruising through! (sent June 27)
I’m SUPER excited to report that I have read THREE “Magic Treehouse” and TWO “Perfectly Princess” chapter books since I started. They were all AWESOME!
