Every book I read helps educate a child in India
Friends and Family,
I believe that charity is an extremely important aspect in one’s outlook on life. Charity can come in many forms, shapes, and sizes: such as physical work, raising awareness, or donating money (and fundraising) for a worthy cause. The Read-A-Thon is my attempt to help with raising funds for the less fortunate children in India.
Did you know that a mere $25 can educate one child for an entire year? The Read-A-Thon is a fundraiser where for each book I read, you pledge to donate a specific amount. This is an opportunity to do something that I enjoy, while simultaneously helping children who don’t have a chance to enjoy something they love. This is why I believe in the Read-A-Thon. I hope you will too, and we can together strive to improve the lives of underprivileged children today.
